Building A Brand That Attracts Your Dream Tribe
Want to know the biggest mistake many online business owners make when it comes to branding? It’s not getting specific enough, especially when it comes to their potential clients/customers!
It sounds a little crazy doesn’t it? After all, don’t you want MORE customers + clients? Of course you do.
But they have to be the right clients. It’s ALL about quality>quanity baby! If you’re not specific about who your tribe is it could lead to problems like….
Sell / recruit less. In fact, you might not sell any at all.
Waste time on marketing, samples, and discovery sessions that don’t work.
Waste money on emails that don’t get opened, blog posts that aren’t read, and Facebook groups that aren’t active.
Or WORSE taking on clients/customers that you invest a lot of time into and get no results for them OR you!
And all that wasted time and money leads to frustration and a sense of despair, not only for you, but for them too! Think about it. If you continually receive marketing messages from someone who is clearly not resonating with you, how does that make you feel? Or worse, how do you feel when you take on a customer or client that you can’t relate to, or help? Don’t do that to yourself, or your potential clients!
Instead, let’s get crystal clear about who your ideal customer + tribe REALLY is! You want an ideal client who desperately needs your help, and with whom you have a clear connection. When you get this part right, you’ll build a list of active, responsive tribe who finds your content, products, and VIBE irresistible! They will eagerly seek out your newest products and programs, and who will happily buy everything you offer!
Now, how do you discover your ideal client? It’s easy. In fact, you probably already know her.
First, think about your current clients/clients!
Who among them is your favorite? What is it about her that makes you happy to get on the phone with her?
Who do you dislike? Maybe she fails to follow through with assignments, or pushes back on every suggestion you make, or maybe you simply aren’t excited about her business model.
Next, think about what where you’ve been! Typically we can best serve those who are two steps behind us! How can you use your experiences to serve others?
Also, the more clear we are about who are tribe REALLY is, the better we can show up and serve them! Instead of spreading yourself thin trying to serve many different types of babes, when you’re clear on who your tribe is you can show up with content, products, etc that truly serves them in powerful ways! Remember, we’d all rather have a dollar than 99 pennies!
